More local heavy hitters try their hand on the RHL stage. Hotbox comes to us after previous stints with some local venues and a local residency at the 8x10. They bring an energetic blend of jam and experitmental hip-hop. And Higher Hands is a veteran quartet bringing spontaneous energy that they have certainly captured on their debut album “Grab Hold”, independently released on August 1st 2008 @ the 8x10 in Baltimore/MD. Blending the sounds of vintage funk, jazz fusion, and alternative hip hop, the Higher Hands bring light to the darkest corners of the dance floor.
