Lloyd Dobler Effect
w/Dreamscapes Project and Juniper Lane Friday, July 3 Doors 7pm $10 plus tax All Ages
Drawing from the diverse Washington, D.C. music scene, Lloyd Dobler Effect fuses rock, percussive rhythms and vocal harmonies to create an intricate and fresh sound. LDE's multi-layered and upbeat music showcases their universal appeal to both mainstream modern rock lovers and culturally diverse audiences.
In glitzy jackets, glittering gloves and 80s regalia, Who's Bad, The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band, is an infectious party production that takes audiences on a musical expedition spanning three decades of Michael Jackson's chart-cresting music. From ABC to You Rock My World no song is forgotten in this electrifying revival of Pop Music's Royal Highness. Founded in 2004 by Vamsi Tadepalli and spearheaded by some of North Carolina's optimum musicians, Who's Bad has crafted an intricate performance complete with synchronized dance routines, blaring horn section and down-deep rhythms--each delivered with a precision that could only be superseded by the King himself. Since their first standing-room only concert, audiences have crowned them must-see entertainment singing along as if the moves, the music, and the memories belong to us all.
Ani Difranco
Thursday, July 9 Doors 7pm $40 plus tax ALL AGES
A folkie in punk's clothing, Ani DiFranco battled successfully against the Goliath of corporate rock to emerge as one of the most influential and inspirational cult heroines of the 1990s. A resolute follower of D.I.Y. ethos, DiFranco released her records through her own indie label, Righteous Babe, slowly but steadily building a devout grassroots following on the strength of a relentless tour schedule. An ardent feminist and an open bisexual, her songs tackled issues like rape, abortion, and sexism with insight and compassion, the music's empowering attitude and anger tempered by the poignant candor of singer/songwriter confessionalism.
David Alan Grier
Friday, July 10 Doors 7pm $25 - $35 plus tax All Ages
From Broadway to film to the stand-up mic, David Alan Grier leaves an impression. An impression usually accompanied with laughing so hard you make yourself sick. Whether it was In Living Color, The Wiz, In The Army Now or Dancing With The Stars chances are you've taken more than a gander at this funny man. Check out the real thing!
State Radio
Saturday, July 11 7pm doors $17 All Ages
The mixture of indie rock song structures, socially conscious lyrics, and roots reggae rhythms has long been a staple in the jam band world, and State Radio deliver on all counts. State Radio manages to avoid the usual post-Phish clichés, injecting a punk-influenced sound and politically charged lyrical viewpoint while staying true to the tenets of their chosen style.
Ween was the ultimate cosmic goof of the alternative rock era, a prodigiously talented and deliriously odd duo whose work traveled far beyond the constraints of parody and novelty into the heart of surrealist ecstasy. Despite a mastery for seemingly every mutation of the musical spectrum, the group refused to play it straight; in essence, Ween was bratty deconstructionists, kicking dirt on the pop world around them with demented glee.
Charm City Devils
special guests TBA Friday, July 17 7pm Doors $10 plus tax All Ages
In an industry filled with trends, fads, fashions, and flash-in-the-pan stories of “here today, gone tomorrow” generic flavors of the month, the one thing that remains constant is the need and love for pure, classic, hard rock and roll. Get ready for some of that to smack you right in the face. Come join the guys at their going away party before they hit the road for Cruefest.
Appetite For Destruction, the ultimate tribute to Guns N’ Roses, has lived this lifestyle since its inception in 2000. The current incarnation of the band (together since 2006) is still based around Chad Atkins' amazing voice. AFD travels the country delivering the most authentic tribute to Guns N’ Roses, circa 1987-1993, most will ever see.

Pete Yorn
w/ TBA Tuesday, July 21 Doors 7pm $25 plus tax All Ages
This is arguably one of the truest singer/songwriters of the time. Pete Yorn uses music and words as if you're hearing them for the first time and pours them over the purest of realities. This show is a genuine opportunity for musical emlightenment and you certainly do not want to miss out.
Rise Against
w/ special guests Rancid and Billy Talent Friday, July 24 Doors: 6:30pm $35 plus tax ALL AGES
Armed with the fury of classic punk acts such as Minor Threat and Bad Brains, blended with intelligent vocals and a serious commitment to providing a positive alternative to the oft-dreary and disenchanted aura that engulfs most punk bands, Chicago’s Rise Against might be seen as an outcast amongst its peers.

Neko Case
w/ special guest Jason Lytle Tuesday, July 28 Doors 7pm $30 plus tax All Ages
There's a special challenge to being an artist in this increasingly fractured cultural age; a delicate balancing act, between being of your time, and striving for timelessness. Few contemporary artists even try. Neko Case is an exception.
Method Man has developed a persona that swings from offhand, understated menace to raucous stoner humor. His team-up with Redman produces not only a terrific musical chemistry, but a big-screen comedy team as well. And for Ghostface Killah you'll have to take the New York Times word for it, "When you get a new Ghostface Killah album, the only reasonable reaction is to get lost in it.”
He is considered Jamaica’s greatest practicing singer/songwriter with the fervor elicited by his live performances.
And vocal trio Culture helped define the sound and style of Rastafarian roots reggae, thanks largely to charismatic singer, songwriter, and leader Joseph Hill. True to their name, Culture's material was devoted almost exclusively to spiritual, social, and political messages.
Sugar Ray
Friday, July 31 $25 plus tax Doors 7pm All Ages
Did anyone see Mark McGrath on Celebrity Jeopardy? Seriously? He ran the board and exhibited a knowledge of music trivia that demonstrates why these late 90s hitmakers have such serious hooks. They have three serious hits as well; “Fly,” “Every Morning”, and “Someday.” We would bet you’ll hear them all July 31.
